A Letter to Myself - A New Year

Written on January 1, 2019

Rest is important

Don’t feel guilty for saying no, cancelling plans when you know you should stay home, or sleeping in on days off.

Take more days off

You don’t have to do everything

Things will get done

You don’t get to compare yourself to others

This isn’t a game; You’re not “falling behind”

Respect your feelings. You have them and experience them for a reason. They are your own. Embrace yourself for thinking uniquely.

You see the world through an exceptional and personal filter. That filter can be expanded. Do new thins, but don’t put a burden on yourself for doing things within your comfort zone.

The new stuff will happen when you’re ready. You’ll know when that is.

Never forget your endless potential.
